There are so many ways to personalise your stationery and something to suit every wedding style, size and budget. This style guide will provide you with some helpful info and some beautiful inspo x

PRINT METHODS

DIGITAL PRINTING

Coloured or black ink printing is the fastest and most economical option. It produces beautiful, vibrant results on a wide range of paper stocks.

WHITE INK PRINTING

Special white ink printing is used to produce chic and elegant pieces. Choose a darker card stock to allow the white ink to really steal the show!

LETTERPRESS

Letterpress is when your card is pressed with an inked metal plate, leaving a gorgeous impression to see and touch. Thick cotton cardstocks ensure the best results. Blind letterpress is a stunning option for design elements such as monograms or illustrations, but for the wording it is best to add a touch of ink from your wedding colour palette. This is a more expensive print method, as it takes a lot of skill, time and a perfectionist's eye to get the best result. We work with an expert print team who will produce your invitations with the care they deserve.

EMBOSSING

Similar to letterpress, however the design is pressed into the back of the card, creating a beautifully tactile, raised design. This is a more expensive and time consuming print process.

HOT FOIL PRESS

For an ethereal and luxurious print technique, it is hard to go past hot foil press. Custom-designed heated plates press shiny, metallic foil into thick paper. It can be combined with digital printing if you wish. This is our most expensive print option, but worth the investment when you see the finished product! The most popular foil colours are gold, silver, rose gold and copper, but there are more to choose from. Edge foiling is also available to elevate your look even further!

FOIL PRINTING

Digital foil printing is a faster process and more budget friendly because it doesn't require a stamping plate to be manufactured. This does mean that it doesn't leave the impression that hot foil press does, however it still gives the shimmer and shine that we adore!

DIE CUT SHAPES

Die cut shapes are a very popular upgrade, with so many shapes and sizes to choose from. They can be used within your invitation design, menus, place cards and signage! Repeat the same shape throughout, or mix and match for an eclectic look.

COLOUR PALETTES

Express yourself with colour! These considered colour palettes can be incorporated into your stationery and signage through card stocks, envelopes and print colours.

Colour Palette #1 is inspired by a photograph of croissants. It includes the colours buttermilk, cinnamon, wafer and cream.

Colour Palette #2 is inspired by a photograph of a waffle cone icecream. It includes the colours chocolate, biscotti, buttermilk and almond.

Colour Palette #3 is inspired by a photograph of a bunch of lavender. It includes the colours lavender, black, mulberry and light moss.

Colour Palette #4 is inspired by a photograph of a foggy forest. It includes the colours hunter green, racing green, sage and ivory.

Colour Palette #5 is inspired by an elegant black and white photograph of a couple dancing. It includes the colours black, white and grey, using linen cardstock options.

Colour Palette #6 is inspired by a photograph of fairy floss coloured clouds. It includes the colours ivory, rosa, mauve and dusky blue.

Colour Palette #7 is inspired by a photograph of matcha powdered green tea. It includes the colours seedling, matcha, light moss and 100% recycled card stock.

Colour Palette #8 is inspired by a photograph of snowflakes upon glass. It includes the colours marina, duck egg blue, light sky and crystal white.

Colour Palette #9 is inspired by a moody photograph of a slice of berry pie. It includes the colours black, mulberry, deep rose and buttermilk.

Colour Palette #10 is inspired by a photograph of patterns in the sand. It includes the colours biscotti, buttermilk and bio cycle wheat card stock.
